American illustrator Ed Roth was one of the most popular artists of the pop art movement. He is best known for his "Rat Fink" character and for his hot rod illustrations. He was born in Beverly Hills, California in 1932. He died in 2001.
Ed Roth was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After joining the Church, he continued his career as a popular artist, but also remained a devout churchgoer throughout the rest of his life.
