The Religious Affiliation of
Harlan Ellison
acclaimed science fiction author
Harlan Ellison: Ellison's ethnic background is Jewish. Although he is not a religious or practicing Jew, he has written one story which contained so much Yiddish it required the 3-page glossary at the end in order to understand.
Ellison makes reference to his unbelief in the introduction to Strange Wine. In an article he wrote ("The Glass Teat", Article #29), he appears to dislike organized religion and dislike Southern Baptists most of all.
