Patty Duke
Patty Duke was a Catholic. In her autobiography she recalls how although she had been a professional actress since the age of 7 or 8, it had never really been her desire to be an actress. Patty Duke received an Academy Award for her supporting role as the young blind and deaf student Helen Keller in the movie The Miracle Worker (1962).
