Amanda's religious beliefs were also a strong part of her character but because writers don't understand anything about Wiccanism they continually made it supernatural and thus confusing and incorrect.[Editor: It is not at all clear that Amanda Sefton has ever been identified as a "Wiccan," despite what this writer seems to think.]

...as for Amanda... well... no, this isn't the place to rant about Amanda. Suffice to say: my problems with her have little to do with incompetent representations of alleged Wiccanism.

Was Amanda (and her mother) ever really supposed to be a Wiccan? The Marvel Universe has real sorcery (practiced by people like Dr Strange), and I thought the Szardos family were generally supposed to be sorcerors, not real Wiccans.
